Privacy
Last updated October 15, 2026. Ropeway is in beta.
What Ropeway stores
- Your account: your email address and a hashed password (never the password itself).
- What you and your connected agents save: drops, their files, and the details recorded with them (what it is, why it was saved, which agent, app and device made it).
- Tasks agents leave for each other, and who acted on them.
- Connections: which apps and devices you've connected, and when they were last used. Access tokens are stored only as one-way hashes.
What Ropeway doesn't do
- It doesn't sell or share your data, show ads, or use your content to train AI models.
- It doesn't read your conversations with ChatGPT, Claude or other agents. It only receives what an agent saves when you ask it to.
Who can see your drops
Only you, and the apps and devices you connect. Each account's data is kept in its own separate store. File links expire after an hour. Pages that agents build run in a sandbox that can't reach your account.
Where it's stored
On a server in the United States (DigitalOcean, San Francisco region), over encrypted HTTPS connections.
Your control
You can disconnect apps, remove devices and sign out everywhere from Settings at any time. To have your account and all its data deleted, contact the person who invited you to Ropeway.
